Welcome to The Scent Vault Perfumes. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of www.scentvaultperfume.co.za(the “website”) and any purchase you make from us. By using the website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Who we are

The Scent Vault Perfumes is a retailer of Arabian and designer-inspired fragrances, operating both online and from our store.

2. Our products

We take care to describe and picture our products accurately. Product images are for illustration and actual packaging, colour or batch may vary slightly. We do not warrant that product descriptions or other content are complete or error-free. All fragrances we sell are genuine.

3. Pricing

All prices are shown in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable. Prices may change at any time, but the price shown at the time you complete checkout is the price that applies to your order. If a product is listed at an incorrect price due to an error, we reserve the right to cancel the order and refund you in full.

4. Orders and acceptance

When you place an order, you make an offer to purchase the products in your cart. A binding contract is formed only once we have accepted your order and received payment. We may decline or cancel an order — for example, where a product is out of stock, where there has been a pricing error, or where we suspect fraud — in which case we will refund any amount paid.

5. Payment

Payments are processed securely by our payment provider, Paystack. We never see or store your full card details. Your order is only processed once payment has been confirmed. If a payment fails or is reversed, your order will not be fulfilled.

6. Delivery and collection

Delivery timeframes, fees and collection arrangements are set out in our Delivery Policy. Risk in the products passes to you upon delivery or collection.

7. Returns, exchanges and refunds

Because perfume is a sealed hygiene product, returns are subject to the conditions set out in our Refund Policy. Faulty, damaged or incorrect items are always put right.

8. Your consumer rights

Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under South Africa’s Consumer Protection Act (CPA) or the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (ECTA), including any applicable cooling-off rights for online purchases (which do not apply to unsealed hygiene products).

9. Acceptable use

You agree to use the website lawfully and not to misuse it, attempt to gain unauthorised access, interfere with its operation, or use it for fraudulent purposes.

10. Intellectual property

The website, its content, branding, logos and design are owned by or licensed to The Scent Vault Perfumes and may not be copied or reused without our written permission. Product names and brands remain the property of their respective owners.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Scent Vault Perfumes will not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the website or products. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under the CPA.

12. Age

Our fragrances contain alcohol and are intended for adults. By ordering, you confirm that you are legally able to enter into a binding contract.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time of your order applies to that order. Continued use of the website means you accept the current Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
